So....it has been over 5 months and I am trying to make a blog comeback. Especially, since I have been sequestered to my house since the birth of our little bundle, Jasper. Pj and I had envisioned easy traveling and visits with our little guy...but the opposite has seemed to occur. He definitely has a mind and temperament of his own, needless to say jaunts around town and get-togethers have not been as convenient as we originally thought! Just using that word "convenient" makes me crack up. Don't even get me started on our experiment out to lunch with gal pals/favorite aunties at our local Mexican restaurant...bad bad idea. So without much adieu, please allow me to introduce our newest addition...

That picture pretty much sums up the past 2 months...hahahaha (no, seriously.) He seems to be a very spirited little fellow, and we love every little bit of him. Here are some more complimentary images for your enjoyment...

Jasper was a whopping 9 lbs at birth and has continued to gain weight pretty quickly. Currently, he is 2 months old / 15 lbs...and counting! During our one month check-up the doctor asked me if his daddy was a large guy. I responded..."If you consider 5'10"/180 as big." She also commented on how freakishly strong he is. All of the nurses continually comment on his strength! (Maybe they say that to all of the moms. I doubt it ;) Here are some more current photos of our little...uh hum...big guy...
(6 Weeks)
Pj, Jasper and I have been fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends. The visits and goodies from everyone have been so thoughtful! We love showing off our new bundle. We have also been back home to Virginia quite a bit visiting with the Hale pack. My little brother, Matt just had his first child, Rose Marie (pic below) two weeks after Jasper. She is ADORABLE, like a little baby doll. (Actually, she reminds me of those Monchichi dolls from the 80's...total cuteness. See below.) Sooooo, it has been fun playing with all of the babies, comparing & contrasting their different personalities and growth. (Rose is petite and super laid back, with a humongo head of hair.)

As far as our house renovations are concerned, I will post all of the new pics later this week. We finally moved out of the "life" room, so we have a functioning family room now, WoooHooo! That means, we are officially sleeping and utilizing our master suite, guest room and Jasper's nursery. Thank goodness! There for a short minute, I thought all three of us would be sleeping and living within the 250 sq ft of our 2600 sq ft house! Ridiculousness.
